Cullman
Classes are available to dancers ages 2-18.
At Courtney’s Dance Artistry, classes are designed to stimulate the enjoyment of dance while laying an important foundation for further training. As the dancer advances, the variety and intensity of the class work increases. Some dancers may choose to join CDA’s Elite Competition Team and compete their dances, which leads to the possibility of college scholarships and professional careers in dance; while others may participate in dance for the exercise and pure enjoyment of the art form; also eligible for advanced Elite class placement.

Cullman Home school Orchestra is an ensemble offered to any home school students between the ages of 8-18 years old. Orchestra teaches students how to play band/orchestral instruments and focuses on classical and contemporary band and orchestra music.
We offer two different levels, Junior and Senior Orchestra. Junior Orchestra is available for beginners to learn the basics of their chosen instrument and music reading, and students may test out of it into the Senior Orchestra when they are ready. Ideally, beginner students would remain in the Junior Orchestra for no more than one year.
Jazz Band is an ensemble offered to any home school students between the ages of 10-18 years old. Jazz Band focuses on various genres of non-classical music, such as jazz, blues, and swing. Students in Jazz Band expand their knowledge of music theory to include blues scales, pentatonic scales, improvisation, and more!

Cullman Coyotes Homeschool Archery Team
Morgan
Basic Team Information
Team icludes ages 4th grade to 12th grade.
Classes, if you have never shot on a NASP team, are required and begin in October, signups in September. Those classes are not included in the tournament team cost.
Signups for the team begin in October.
Mandatory new parent meeting held in November.
Team Costs Payment and team T Shirt orders are required in November.
Tournament Team Practices begin in December.
Team costs are approximately $200, subject to change each year. Team t shirt costs are around $20 each, also subject to change each year. Parent shirts and other items also available at additional costs.
Mid-January through early April is tournament season. Tournaments are about once a week when they begin and are usually held on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday and the archer's flights do last an hour each tournament. Our practices are held on Monday afternoons for an hour, we do have a range of hours to practice in the afternoons to better serve your family’s needs. Each archery tournament usually charges a spectator fee, from $3-$5/person, that must be paid at the door for any spectator, including parents.
State competition is in April, tournament fee is included, but not transportation or accomadations.
National competition is in May, costs of this competition are NOT included in the cost of the team nor transportation or accomadations.
We will attend around 10 tournaments within Cullman County, a few within an hour from the Cullman area, plus state and national competitions, if we qualify, so we’re a very active team.
We follow all NASP rules and encourage good sportsmanship, safety, and doing your best.
An archery class is required to join the team unless you have previously been on a NASP competing team. That class is put on by Cullman Parks and Rec at the Indoor Archery Range by Anthony Parker. Those classes begin in October of each year, at a small additional cost, usually just over $100. The class teaches all the basics, safety and rules.
The class provides bows to use during instruction time, no supplies or equipment are needed, just pay the fee and show up. This helps to see if your child is interested before making a larger purchase of a bow for tournament season.
Personal bows are highly suggested prior to the beginning of the tournament season. A NASP Genesis Original bow, the only bow allowed in practice or tournaments, can currently be purchased for under $200.00. The archer will use that same one bow for the entirety of the team career, from 4th grade to 12th grade, so the equipment cost is minimal.
